A School Built for Heritage Learners

Based on ACTFL Standards

ALIA is a nonprofit online school offering accredited classes for KG - 12. This will only be under the urdu section or arabic class section ALIA language classes offer accredited world language courses built on ACTFL standards, taught by native-speaking instructors — available to students anywhere in the world. Our courses are designed for students who grew up hearing a language at home and are ready to learn it properly. Every course is taught live by native-speaking instructors, built on the ACTFL proficiency framework, and backed by Cognia accreditation — the same standard that applies to brick-and-mortar schools. We started with Urdu. More languages are coming.

A Dynamic Approach to Language Learning

Engaging, interactive, and built for real results.

  • Flipped Classroom

Students explore new material at their own pace before each session. This frees live class time for the things that actually build fluency — conversation, practice, and real teacher interaction.

  • Live Classes

Small-group sessions with native-speaking instructors. Students build genuine communicative confidence by speaking with peers and teachers in an interactive, supportive environment.

  • Final Projects

Every course ends with an authentic language task — a presentation, a conversation, a creative project. Students don't just study the language. They use it.

Who Is ALIA For?

ALIA is for the student who grew up hearing Urdu at home but never learned to read or write it. For the family that wants world language credits that count toward graduation. For parents who want rigorous, accredited education — not just an app. Our students are in middle and high school. They are heritage learners, motivated beginners, and young people ready to connect with their language and culture in a meaningful way.
